2ème Festival Suisse des Méthodes Qualitatives 2013
After the tremendous success of the Qualitative Methods Festival at the University of Basel in September 2011, the Swiss Academy of Humanities and Social Sciences was willing to sponsor further methods festivals. FORS, the Swiss foundation for research in the social sciences, took the responsibility to organize these festivals in the future in cooperation with a program committee that is composed of representatives from different Swiss universities.
For the second Qualitative Methods Festival the plan was to have a focus on French speaking sessions. As Vivianne Châtel and Marc-Henri Soulet were organizing the 4thCongrès du Réseau international francophone de la recherche qualitative (Rifreq)at the University of Fribourg on June 19-21, we decided to merge the two events this time and add the Swiss Qualitative Methods Festival as fourth day on June 22.
